• Information contained in enquiries, applications, forms, agreements, correspondence, complaints, service requests and claim documents.

We will only collect Personal Information that is necessary for lawful business purposes and for providing our funeral products and services.

We collect and process Personal Information to provide funeral cover, administer memberships and policies, assess applications, collect premiums, process claims, communicate with members and beneficiaries, provide customer support, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, prevent fraud, maintain proper business records and improve our services. We may also process Personal Information where you have given consent, where processing is necessary for a contract, where we have a legal obligation, or where it is necessary to pursue a legitimate business interest in a lawful manner.

We may share Personal Information with insurers, underwriters, administrators, reinsurers, funeral service providers, payment service providers, banks, debit order processors, claims assessors, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement agencies and other authorised third parties where this is necessary to provide our services, comply with the law, protect our rights or fulfil a lawful business purpose. We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Personal Information against loss, damage, unauthorised access, unlawful processing, disclosure or destruction. If we become aware of a security compromise involving Personal Information, we will take reasonable steps to assess, contain and remediate the incident. Where required by POPIA, we will notify the Information Regulator and affected Data Subjects as soon as reasonably possible.
